The Heaviest Al-Qur’an in The World


VIVAnews - There is an Al-Qur’an with the heaviest weight in the world at Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Al-Shiryyah Nurul Iman, which is located in Kampung Waru RT 01/01, Desa Waru Jaya, Parung subdistrict, Bogor regency, West Java, Indonesia.

Habib Sagaf ibn Mahdi ibn Syekh Abu Bakar ibn Salim, Ponpes leader Nurul Iman Al-Shiryyah, claim that the Qur'an is the heaviest in the world. It weighed 1.2 tons, with the thickness of the sheet reached three millimeters, 120 centimeters in width and 150 centimeters in length.
