I never knew before that there is interspecies sex betwen a tiger and a lion that can produce offspring.
I've already heard before about the mule that is the offspring resulting from the breeding of a male donkey and a female horse. But about Ligers (lion + tiger) or Tigons/Tiglons (tiger + lion), I just found out now. I think this is a pretty great thing, although this may only occur in captivity.
*****
If a male tiger mating with a lioness (a female lion), they will be able to produce offspring called Tigons.
*****
If a male lion mating with a female tiger, they will be able to produce offspring called Ligers.
A male liger called Hobbs, the son of an African lion and a Bengal tigress.
*****
And what if a Dog mating with A Tiger, can you image what their offspring might look? And would be called what??
