Rose Periwinkle As Herbal Medicine

There are several Rose periwinkle plants grown in my backyard. Some of the plants have red flowers, and the others have white flowers.

A Wild Purple Flower

This is a purple flowering wild plants which grows in my backyard. I still do not know what its name. Its purple flower attract my attention so I finally took some photos of its flower.

Male Papaya Flowers

This is papaya flowers photos of a male papaya tree. In Indonesia, a male papaya tree called by the name of "Pohon pepaya gantung", or hanging papaya tree. This papaya (Carica papaya) can not bear fruit, only to have flowers. In my place, these papaya flowers are usually cooked and eaten. Besides the flowers, young papaya leaves are also used to be eaten too (the leaves have a slightly bitter taste).

Lobster Claw (Heliconia Rostrata) Flowers

This is Heliconia rostrata flowers pictures that I saw growing on the edge of a road. At that moment I was walking with my wife, doing a little exercise in the morning. While waiting for my wife sat down to rest, I was photographing these beautiful flowers with my mobile phone camera. In Indonesia, this ornamental plant known by the name Pisang-Pisangan (pisang = banana) because of the resemblance to a banana plant.
